I grew up with needles, pins and fabric and followed a path in
textiles for 25 years.
An introduction to papermaking some years ago ignited a spark
and gave me a fascination for pulp.
I love leaves and bark, recycling and hoarding, colour and
texture. The beauty of summer's leftovers.
You can make paper as fine and textured as lace, or strong and
pliable as fabric when wet. I love the diversity of the medium.
I set up my studio in 2008 at Dalby Forest...what better place to be to find inspiration for my own work and as a setting for sharing my passion with others?
