Thank you for visiting Papermaking at Pulpitations and welcome to my website! I hope you will be inspired by my work and the wonderful world of papermaking.

I call myself a "papermaking artist" as I make decorative handmade paper which I use to create works of art and practical paper objects. I am constantly experimenting to find new and different methods of producing papers and pulps to further my teaching and for my own work.

I began my business "Pulpitations" 6 years ago in the Courtyard at Dalby Forest near Pickering on the beautiful North York Moors. I make and sell my lamps and products from here and run workshops both in my studio and elsewhere.

Add your name to my mailing list on the left of this page to receive updates of news and events. I look forward to seeing you at my studio or hearing from you.

News: July 2015

My next event will be at The Great Yorkshire Show in Harrogate on 14th - 16th July. I will be in the Discovery Zone where you can have a go at making and decorating paper. (see events page)

I will be at The Yorkshire Arboretum on Sunday 19th July 11.00am - 4.00pm where you can also try your hand at papermaking (turn up and have a go for free) If you would like to book in for a half day workshop at the Arboretum I am running 2 sessions on Monday 3rd August suitable for adults and children. (see events page)

Between these two dates I will be exhibiting a selection of my current work at The Yorkshire Arboretum which will be available to purchase. the exhibition will be in the Visitor Centre.

I run private workshops in my studio throughout the year for small groups or individual tuition. I can also cater for larger groups in the Community Room here in the Courtyard or I am happy to bring my equipment and materials to your chosen venue. Likewise I am happy to travel across and out of the county to run school workshops.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you would like more information about my work, papermaking kits, workshops or events.

Happy Papermaking!
